Brick press has cleared customs!
We have heard that the brick press has now cleared customs in Haiti. T-shirts have raised over $5300 for the work and that money has been sent to Thirst No More. We have about 200 T-shirts left, so those could raise another $3000 if they are sold.

Brick press is in Haiti
We have received word that the brick press is on the ground in Haiti, and should be through customs soon. A specialist from India will be in Haiti August 10-24 to gather the appropriate soil mixture for the brick press and train the Haitians to run the press. Pray that the press makes it through customs without delay and that the soil mixture can be determined quickly.

The shirts are here!
Just a quick update on the tees....they have arrived! We are currently working on a website to provide another avenue to raise funds for the people of Haiti and give you another option for ordering t-shirts.
Until then, continue to follow our blog for upcoming events and updates on how our shirts are helping the people of Haiti. In the meantime, don't forget that you can print and send in an order form for your tee.

the shirt. the mission.

A small idea and the desire to reach out beyond the pew in some small way has become an all out mission to reach the people of Haiti. The mission is simple:
Provide safe and suitable housing for the people of Haiti.
The avenue to raise funds has been set and the idea is very simple. Buy a shirt...provide funds to buy a brick machine. Not just any brick machine, one that gives the people safer housing than they had before the earthquake. One that uses natural resources to create strong walls. A machine that creates jobs and helps get the economy going again. A machine that helps provide healing and hope to a people in need.
The mission is simple: buy a shirt....give hope. give healing.

Every T-shirt sends $10 to help Haiti
After hearing of Haiti's great need after the earthquake, we decided to sell T-shirts with the proceeds going to help rebuild and heal Haiti. Thirst No More is a Christian relief organization that, among other efforts, is placing a hydraulic brick press in Haiti, which will produce 600 earthquake resistant bricks daily. As this effort progresses, permanent homes can be built for those who have lost so much in Haiti. The sale of each "Helping Haiti Healing Haiti" t-shirt will yield approximately $10 in funding toward this effort. Thanks for helping!
